الجمعية التونسية للإتصال وعلوم الفضاء هي منظمة غير حكومية لسيت لها أهداف تجارية نشاطها العمل التطوعي خاضعة للقانون عدد 154 المؤرخ في 07 نوفمبر 1959 والمنقح بالقانون الأساسي عدد 90 لسنة 1988 المؤرخ في 02 أوت 1988 (تأشيرة عدد 6204 بتاريخ 13 جويلية 1985 الصادرة بالرائد الرسمي عدد 61 بتاريخ 30 أوت 1985). وتم تصنيفها طبقا لأحكام وزارة الداخلية ضمن الجمعيات العلمية تبعا لقانون سنة 1992 المؤرخ في 02 افريل 1992 .
والجمعية اها الصفة إستشارية لدى المجلس الإقتصادي والإجتماعي لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة بالصنف C وتحت رقم 12.888 منذ 04 ماي 2000.

و تهدف هذه الجمعية إلى :
- المساهمة في تنمية علوم تكنولوجيا الإتصال
- إستعمال التقنيات الجديدة في خدمة التنمية مع حماية الخصوصيات الثقافية وإثراء القيم
- المساهمة في إثراء البحوث العلمية والدراسات بتنظيم اللقاءات العلمية والقيام بخدمات التوثيق والنشر والتعريف بهذه البحوث والعلوم والتقنيات.
- المساهمة في نشر الثقافة الرقمية والتطبيقات السيبرانية
- شرح وتبسيط مختلف الإستعمالات السلمية للفضاء
- الربط بين الجمعيات والمراكز المعنية بالعلوم الفضائية والتعريف بأنشطتها المشتركة.
- تبادل الخبرات مع الجمعيات المماثلة في الداخل والخارج

The Tunisian Association for Communication and Space Sciences, ATUCOM is a non governmental organization governed by the Tunisian Law 59-154 of 7 November 1959 and registered under Nbr 6204 dated July 13, 1985 and has been classified as Scientific Association by the Ministry of Interior, under the 1992 Act, (certificate No. 7844).
In addition, the presence of ATUCOM has given it the recognition of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) as a Tunisian NGO enjoying consultative status (category C) in the United Nations system (certificate No. 12888 - 04 May 2000).
Indeed, the association continues to constitute, at both national and regional levels, a meeting and discussion area, bringing together anyone interested in the promotion of science and communication technologies, by studying their stakes and their impact on this continuously changing society.

The objectives of ATUCOM are:

to contribute to the development of science and communication technologies.
to harness new technologies for enrichment and preservation of cultural values.
to develop cooperation with similar institutions nationally, regionally and internationally.
to contribute to the development of reflection and legal research in the fields of information, communication and informatics.
to contribute to the spread of digital culture and cybernetics.
to disseminate space science and publicize the various peaceful uses of outer space.
to strengthen links with institutions and associations involved in space science.

L’Association tunisienne de communication et des sciences spatiales, l’ATUCOM est une association sans but lucratif régie par la loi tunisienne 59-154 du 7 novembre 1959 (Visa N° 6204 du 13 Juillet 1985; JORT N° 61 du 30 Août 1985). Cette association a été classée par le Ministère de l’Intérieur, en vertu de la loi de 1992, comme Association scientifique (attestation n°7844)
Par ailleurs, la présence de l’ATUCOM sur la scène internationale lui a conféré la reconnaissance du Conseil Economique et Social (ECOSOC) comme ONG tunisienne jouissant du statut consultatif auprès de l’ONU, dans la catégorie C (attestation n° 12.888) du 04 Mai 2000.

Les objectifs de cette association consistent à :

contribuer au développement des sciences et technologies de la communication :
mettre les nouvelles technologies au service de l’enrichissement et de la sauvegarde des valeurs culturelles ;
développer la coopération avec les institutions similaires au niveau national, régional et international.
contribuer au développement de la réflexion, de la recherche juridique dans les domaines de l’information, de communication et de l’informatique.
Contribuer à la diffusion de la culture numérique et cybernétique.
Diffuser les sciences spatiales et faire connaître les différentes applications pacifiques de l’espace.
Renforcer les liens avec les institutions et les associations concernées par les sciences spatiales.
